Self Help Center is a consumer operated services program providing peer recovery support services to adults diagnosed with mental illness, those experiencing symptoms of mental illness, and those with co-occurring disorders (mental illness and addictions).  All services are provided free of charge; however, membership (also free) is required.

Winners Announced

Self Help Center recently recognized individuals and organizations for their outstanding work and achievements at the 2009 Holiday and Recognition Dinner.  This year's theme was I Choose Hope.  Recognized this year were:

Outstanding Partner -- Walk for Recovery St. Louis

Randy Stratt Mentor of the Year Award -- Neil Duncan

Angel Bisher Volunteer of the Year Award -- Neil Duncan

Board Member of the Year -- Mike Newmark, President

Facilitator of the Year -- Nancy Bollinger, Procovery

All award winners were selected by participants of the agency, which makes the awards even more special to the winners.
