The Story Behind Angel's Place
Angel's Place, the Self Help Center Food and Personal Care Pantry, was named after a participant of the center. Angel was not only a participant, but also an avid volunteer. Unfortunately we lost Angel to suicide.
In an attempt to keep her memory and giving spirit alive we have an angel statue sitting next to our entry and could think of no better way to honor her giving spirit than to name the food and personal care pantry after her.
